My Review
My daughter told me that I had to read this book, but it wasn't until I saw the cover which I think is utterly beautiful and read the blurb that I took her advice.
I have never been haunted by a book before, but this one comes pretty close to doing just that. I could not stop thinking about it. I even found myself dreaming about it. At times this book is incredibly unnerving, but I think that only leads to the appeal.
The historical backdrop seemed to come to life. I thought everything about this book was wonderful.
